Our community is strong because we believe in each other and in education. 

Immensely proud to have Malaika so welcomed and embedded into the community.  The strength of Kalebuka drives Malaika, and their support is invaluable as we can only achieve so much without them, regardless of ambition or manpower.  They’ve enrolled their daughters in our school, sent their children to our community center for our health, literacy and sports programs and also contributed their time to keep Malaika running so efficiently.  We’ve also built eight wells in the community that impact over 16,000 residents a year - because our commitment is to the village at large.  Our bond is strong, and their children’s prosperity and family’s health are how we measure our success.
